My opinion

Personally, I think the world should be more concerned with global warming because chances are, if the arctic circle is gone by 2040 - who's to say our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will even know what polar bears are, or what penguins are. When they see "Happy Feet" - they'll ask - what's that cute creature and are they real? And we, the granparents will have to tell them that no, our generations and the ones before us ruined the planet for them. Not only that, but when they go on vacation, they won't see the beautiful coral reefs anymore and the ocean plant life will be desolate. I think that people take this earth for granted because although its not gone yet, it will be if people don't take care of it. Not only that. but the more acid rain and natural disasters happen - who knows when the 7 wonders of the world will be gone? Sure I'm happy I will probably see all of them in my lifetime, but I want my offspring and their offspring to be able to see it too, and not just in pictures or on TV. Now if all of you could care less about your offspring, be my guest and trash the planet, but chances are you will care so maybe you should all care more about planet earth too.
