Class the past week

I thought class the past week has been very interesting because of all the different topics people have picked. It kind of gives you an insight to a person's personality sometimes because usually people will pick argumentative topics that they feel strongly about. I feel strongly about the environment because most of the time if you stop and look around, what you will see is beautiful and I don't want that to all go away because humans were foolish and selfish and wouldn't stop it. I thought the video of the eye surgery looked really painful, it didn't gross me out really, it just looked very painful but i know it doesn't hurt because they numb your eye first. The presentation on the CVS was really interesting as well because I don't think i would want to get my baby tested for diseases when it could be killed during the testing, I would rather have a baby with a disease that was alive because even if it does have a disease, I know it will be made out of love and I don't want to kill something I and another person have brought life to. If that is how God wants my baby made then so be it. If there was 100% chance that the baby wouldn't be killed, I would definitely do the testing so I could prepare for the difficulties ahead but I wouldn't change a thing. Another presentation that really got my attention was the body dysmorphic disorder one. I never knew there was such a thing, and i think the media has had a really bad affect on the world because of the complexes it gives people. I wish no one cared what they looked like because that would cause a lot less problems.
