Residential Colleges
I think residential colleges are very nice for those who want to stay on campus. You can go to class in your pajamas and wake up 10 minutes early just to walk down the hall and go to class. it's wonderful actually, which is a down side to moving off campus. There are also a lot of activities for people to get involved in and get to know each other so that's a plus for incoming freshman so they will know some people after they get to college. A down side is, i guess with all parts of college and life, if you don't find a "clique" when you first get here, you won't really be able to find many friends as easy. With dorms in general, it really sucks if you lose your student id because then you can't get in the dorm and you have to rely on people you know to be there to let you in, but that hasn't happened to me, it's happened to my roommate. Overall, residential colleges are the number one choice if you want to live on campus if you don't want to or don't get into the honors college.
